For this landlord’s rental property, Yeoman (SW) Ltd were asked to remove the 40+ year-old cast-iron boiler and hot water cylinder and upgrade the system with a new Glow-worm combination boiler ready for a new tenant.
The new boiler was installed in place of the hot water cylinder in the airing cupboard upstairs.
Easy to use Glow-worm controls were installed, comprising of a mechanical timer built into the front of the boiler and the load compensating Glow-worm Climastat, which brings the installation in line with Boiler Plus legislation. The boiler also came with a 10 year parts and labour warranty, ensuring the landlord and tenants have long-term peace of mind and confidence in their new boiler.
The heating system was flushed using our Thoroughflush fresh water cleaning system, and the new Glow-worm dirt and magnetic filter was installed for ongoing boiler and heating system protection.
