This was a very exciting boiler change, future proofing this home for years to come, with the correct type of hot water and heating system for the size of the house and planned alterations.
Floor standing, cast iron boiler and open vented hot water cylinder removed, upgraded with a Vaillant ecoTEC PLUS systems boiler and Vaillant Unistore unvented cylinder. The first and second floors have been split into two separate heating zones, individually controlled with Google Nest smart controls, via a hot water priority X-plan pipe configuration.
The X-plan hot water priority will not only replenish the hot water quicker but get the boiler to temperature faster, into its condensing mode and achieving its highest efficiency.
The results were immediately noticeable, particularly the hot water, now several showers can be run simultaneously at a greatly improved pressure. The house undeniable warmer in a much shorter time of having the heating activated.
