Sadly, parts were no longer available for this 35-year-old, open-flued boiler when its gas valve failed.
The boiler was been replaced with a Vaillant ecoTEC PLUS 615 systems boiler. In the airing cupboard below, a Vaillant Protection Pack was installed which, as Yeoman (SW) Ltd are Vaillant Advance Accredited Installers, upgrades the 7 year warranty to 10 years.
As with all our installations, the heating system was flushed removing the previously reported cold spots from the radiators, and shortly after our customer called to inform us the heating had never been so quick to heat up her home.
