Unfortunately, spare parts were no longer available when this floor-standing, open-flued boiler broke down during the spring. A new high-efficiency Glow-worm Energy boiler was installed in its place.
The boiler was relocated to a more accessible outbuilding and the gravity primaries and out-of-date controls removed.
The system is now fully pumped to heating and hot water demand and can they be controlled independently of one another. In addition to this, a full system flush using ADEY Magna Cleanse filters saw vast amounts of iron oxide removed from the system. This customer will see HUGE savings in their energy bill in the years to come.
