As part of a refurb and kitchen extension, this spacious home in the St Leonards area of Exeter required a bit of a re-think with its heating system.
The existing Viessman boiler was relocated to a new plant room created in the basement, and was used to heat the three new underfloor heating zones, the existing radiator heating circuit, a new towel rail circuit and the new hot water system.
A new Gledhill unvented hot water cylinder was also installed with a secondary hot water circuit to ensure quick delivery to all hot water outlets and a Gledhill accumulator to boost the undersized water supply.
