For this installation, The existing Cast Iron back boiler and fire front had to go, the boiler was inefficient to run and the fire front was not the most pleasant fire to look at.
The decision was made to remove the Back boiler, fire front and hot water cylinder and replace with a high efficiency Glow-worm Energy combination boiler.
The new boiler has now been installed in the airing cupboard in place of the hot water cylinder, The existing controls have been upgraded to the Glow-worm MiSet touch screen, load compensating programmable room thermostat.
A Glow-worm Power filter has been installed on the primary return for ongoing boiler protection, and as with all our installations the heating system has been flushed and dosed with inhibitor.
This boiler also boasts a 10 year parts and labour warranty, ensuring long term peace of mind for our clients.
