This was a challenge… a sooty one too!
The existing Gas fire was flue’d through the brick wall, as the chimney in this property had not be used for many years, and required quite a bit of preparation work before we could line it. The existing register plate was removed and several rubble sacks of brick work removed before we eventually dropped the liner in, a new chimney pot was also required.
The result of the hard work was spectacular though; the Ecosy Ottowa 5kw stove sits beautifully in this spacious fire place.
