This was a very satisfying boiler change to carry out in Brixham. The original boiler in the kitchen had been installed with the heating system in 1985, and the time had come for an upgrade. The client also requested that we relocate the boiler to the garage.
A Vaillant ecoTEC PLUS was chosen, along with new controls including pump, 3 port motorised valve, twin channel timer and room thermostat, which upgraded the system so that the client could control the heating and hot water independently of one another.
The system required an extensive flush to remove huge amounts of black iron oxide from the system. Following this, a Spirotech MB3 filter and RV2 de-aerator were installed to the boiler primaries for ongoing boiler and system protection.
This Boiler also came with a 10 year parts and labour warranty.
