This project is currently a work in progress, for now we have removed the existing Hot water cylinder and gas boiler, upgrading to a new Unvented cylinder with a Glow-worm Energy boiler, taking full advantage of the range of Glow Worm eBus controls available.
The system now has Hot Water Priority, meaning during hot water demand the system will isolate the heating and operate the boiler at a higher rate, then once the hot water demand is met the heating will operate at a lower rate determined by the thermostat and an outside weather sensor.
In addition to this, provision has been put in place for an additional under floor heating zone, as building works have begun on an extension.
